Based on the island of Ven, Sweden, the association NaturKulturVen facilitates non-profit activities for knowledge and engagement in culture and nature. Specifically, the association organizes trans-local, arts-based collaborations where planetary perspectives are understood from the local point of view, and vice versa. NaturKulturVen promotes, initiates, and manages processes involving ecological regeneration, community participation, and knowledge exchange. The association is aimed at people of all ages, regardless of background, and works to counteract all forms of discrimination. NaturKulturVen (formerly Holtabacken Nature Culture Association) was founded in 2025, and as of July 2026, has 33 members from Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Denmark.
